How do I create prompts in another language?

I'm trying to add a menu path that's entirely in Spanish. I would like the system to say something like, "Press 2 for Spanish." Then all the same prompts are read in Spanish if the user presses 2. I tried adding a department and announcement-only users, but the system does not allow the caller to type in an extension while the system is making the announcement about the department or user.

I looked at this article, but the instructions seem outdated, as the UI in the article looks nothing like the current UI used on the RingCentral site. The properties of the below article say it was last updated about two years ago!

Hi Matthaniel, you need to put your recording on the Auto Attendant Company Greeting, NOT with in the department.

This will allow the selection of the menu's as they are being spoken.

View the department as just another extension that could be used with the advanced features of course.

Does this make sense?

Thanks for responding.

I also tried creating an "announcement only extension", however when I tried to type in any extension during the announcement, the system was ignoring my key presses.

By the Auto Attendant Company Greeting, you mean the main greeting that is heard when the caller first calls in, correct?

If the above assumption is correct, I would like the main greeting to say something like "Push 2 for Spanish", then the caller would experience all future prompts entirely in Spanish, being able to do exactly everything you'd be able to do if the caller hadn't elected to hear everything in Spanish.

Right now, we have the phone system setup to say everything first in English (with a notice to Spanish speakers to wait for their translation), then say the exact same thing in Spanish. This be very annoying and can take up too much time and frustrate a caller, especially one looking for prompts in a Spanish-only translation.

We'd like the caller to be able to choose which language they'd like to hear the prompts in before continuing with the rest of the call and selecting their extensions based on the prompts they hear.

I have not found any reliable information to create sub-menus to emulate this, at least using the UI now used in RingCentral.
