I'm having issues with my messages synching with my RingCentral Smartphone app. What should I do?

Message sync issues may be caused by multiple duplicate messages that are received on your RingCentral account.

If you are unable to get your messages to sync, follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

For RingCentral Mobile app for iOS:

Step 1:
On your RingCentral mobile app, tap Settings.



Step 2:
Tap General.



Step 3:
Tap Logout.

Step 4:
On your Apple device, press the home button twice to show active running applications.

Step 5:
Tap and hold the RingCentral mobile app and close it.



Step 6:
Relaunch the RingCentral mobile app and log in.

For RingCentral Mobile app for Android:

** Note: Steps may vary on Android devices.

Step 1:
Press Menu and tap Settings.



Step 2:
Tap Application Settings.



Step 3:
Tap Logout and close the application.



Step 4:
Go back to Settings by repeating Step 1.

Step 5:
Open Application Manager or Manage applications option.

Step 6:
Look for the RingCentral application.

Step 7:
Press the RingCentral application to open its settings.

Step 8:
Under Storage, tap on Clear Data.

Step 9:
Once the data is cleared, close the settings.

Step 10:
Launch the RingCentral application and log in again to your RingCentral account.

** Note: If you are still having message sync problems, uninstall and reinstall the RingCentral application.
