Number Transfer or Porting allows you to transfer a non-RingCentral phone number to your RingCentral service.
For example, you currently have a phone number with another company but you want to use your RingCentral service, you can submit a request to RingCentral to complete the transfer.
So how does this work? You'll need to do two (2) things first:
**Note: You need to be logged in as an account administrator to complete the process.
To check if your current phone number is eligible to be transferred, follow the steps below:
Step 1:
Log in to your RingCentral online account as an administrator.
Step 2: Select Phone System.
Step 3:Click on Phone Numbers.
Step 4: Click Forward Number option.
Step 5:
Select Transfer my number to RingCentral
