Deskphone: old name is on the physical phone, won't update with new user name

Like the title states, I updated the name associated with a phone number in our office in the users > user info section of my account a few weeks ago.  However the name on the physical phone (polycom) still says the old name.  What can I do to fix this?

Go to PHONES AND DEVICES, click the User's phone and change the name under "Phone Nickname".

Unplug the phone, wait a little bit and re plug to be refreshed.

Thank you everyone for your help, changing the "Phone Nickname" fixed it.  I was surprised because the nickname was different that what was/is displayed on the phone so even though I considered changing it before I mistakenly assumed that the nickname wasn't related to the problem.

Here's an explanation of what I mean:

Username was "John Doe". nickname was "John's phone" phone displays "John Doe"

change username to "Mike Rowe", nickname still "John's Phone" phone still displays "John Doe"

change nickname to "Mike's phone" phone now displays "Mike Rowe"
