I would like to see the RingCentral phone app be able to vibrate when I silence my iPhone.

My account is in the USA.  I use the RingCentral phone app on my iPhone.  Often, I must place my phone on silence when I am in a meeting.  However, it would be nice to allow my phone to vibrate when receiving a call on the RingCentral app.  My phone vibrates when I receive a personal call, but I have missed calls on RingCentral since the phone does not vibrate.  Our company has nearly 100 outside Salespeople, and I know that this feature would also be appreciated by them.

Interesting.  I called Support the other day and they told me that they would look into it but I should submit it as a suggestion to the Community.  Is there a setting change that needs to occur?  I've had my iPhone on all day but it has not vibrated when someone calls my RingCentral number.  It only vibrates if I get a call on my Verizon phone number.

Hmmm....there's no setting within the RC app itself. It will vibrate based on your phone's notification settings. So for instance, when I disabled Vibrate on Silent - my phone didn't vibrate when I received a call on the RC app.

However, once I turned Vibrate on Silent - and received a call - the phone vibrated.

I had this problem with my Pixel 3a where it won't vibrate for RC calls. It vibrates for everything else, even missed call notifications from RC app, but it won't vibrate on an incoming RC call.

I was still using the "RC Phone" app. After getting the new Ringcentral app set up the problem was resolved.

Huh, weird...I wonder why the RingCentral Phone app wasn't following your cell phone's settings? :(

I'm guessing its because I am on Android 10. The RC Phone app was deprecated before Android 10 came out, so they probably never did any development to make it compatible.
