I am currently only able to add 5 people to the list of those permitted to send faxes through their email, but I need to add more. How can I do that? I currently have the Fax 700 plan.

Hi Elder, I think there is a limit of only 5. How many are you looking to add?

Also, what type of E-mail system are you using because there may be a way depending the official Ring Central Answer.

I will look to RC to officially answer the question on the limit, in the mean time, please E-Mail me as I have some thoughts for your to consider.

Thanks

Hi Chuck,

I need to add 20 or so emails, including the 5 I am allowed. We are using Gmail as our host. If I cannot add more emails to that list I can probably make it work. I just think that it would be easier this way. Thanks for your help.

Official Response
Hey guys,

Elder was correct - you can only have five users send using faxing with email.

This is something that we need to increase.

Can you please vote for it here?

Thanks.

Elder, please share the solution. I always like to see what other people are doing.

You could send it directly to me if you like. I also have some questions for you outside of this thread.

The workaround simplified: (tested with exchange and Google Apps for Business)

1. Set up an email user / mailbox / distribution list
2. Allow the users that need to be able to email the "Send As" function for this new mailbox
3. Add this email as one of the (5) that RingCentral currently allows
4. Also can use this or another distribution list as the email account to receive confirmation and new faxes.

This solution has worked well for us!
