What do the icon states in the Softphone mean?

I see different icon states for the softphone, and it would be useful to have a key somewhere that indicates what they mean. I see an envelope now, for instance, so I'd assume I have a message. But I don't. Please provide some insight.

Hi Brad,

You're right - there is no documentation on the icons in the softphone!

I'm going to see what I can do about this. We do need some documentation.

For now, if you open the softphone and hover your mouse over the icons you can get the name of the icon. I hope that will work for now.

This is not answered. I think the question is about the icon in the Mac dock. Right now, mine looks like a cell phone with the screen flashing. Why is it flashing? It is distracting.

SoftPhone>Recent Calls>Missed Calls Icon has a blue handset icon with a yellow and red "!" overlayed on it.

Why do these missed calls show the "!" while others do not?
