Include a Preconfigured Contact in all RingCentral Instances that Represents RingCentral's Support Line TFN

Associate a Caller ID (e.g. RingCentral Support) with the DID numbers that RC support uses to call customers.

I get a million cold calls from vendors - I never answer numbers that I don't recognize, so I never answer when RC support calls me about a case.

Hey Jeff,

Unfortunately we don't have control over the CNAM for Toll-Free numbers :( Have you considered adding our Support Line (888-898-4591) to your contacts?

Thanks Saadet - I didn't know that, and thanks for linking the article. So my Feature Request will be "include a preconfigured contact in all RingCentral instances that represents RingCentral's support line TFN". That way you could do something nice for a million customers instead of having a million customers needing to do that themselves.

I also didn't know you use just a single Toll-Free number, and also would have guessed that you would use a TFN for inbound calls but not for calling out to customers.

Hey Jeff,

I've changed the title of this thread so that it properly reflects your request.

Yep, so if a Support Agent gives a customer a call through Contact Center (not their direct line), the outbound caller ID is set to our Toll Free Number.
