I am having some difficulty uploading contacts. In short, my contacts originated as google contacts and contain name, address, telephone, fax, mobile, company name and job title. I exported them as .csv and imported into ring central but the only thing that showed up was first and last name, nothing else. So, given that this is Microsoft based, I exported the google contacts to outlook.com account and attempted to export and import them from outlook.com account as a .csv and got the same result. Is there some trick to this that I am missing? BTW, we are talking about thousands of contacts here that I am loathe to have to reenter.

Hi Thomas, How did you format your CSV file for the import to RC?

I have done this and it has worked over and over.

I could send you the CSV template that I use

Send me an E-Mail so I could attach and send to you

Thanks

Chuck,

First, thanks for replying so quickly. Second, I simply exported from Google the contacts and imported them into ringcentral. Did the same thing from outlook.com. There was only an option to export as a .csv file. It didn't give me any other choices, through either program, to modify the .csv file in any way. If there is another way to do that, I am certainly willing to take instruction. If you will reply with your email address, I am more than willing to attempt to use your .csv template.
