Increase number of paging devices from 25

When will you increase the number of paging devices from its current limit of 25?  We were able to page all of our Mitel phones on our former system and this limit impacts us if there is an emergency.  We are using Polycom VVX311/411 phones.

I wouldn't hold your breath because I believe the reason behind this is a fundamental design concern that it creates 25 voice calls over your internet connection.

The good news is that you are using Polycom VVX phones and can configure them with multicast paging and have unlimited groups size.

Thanks!  The link did not work so I can't see the pdf.  Not concerned about the number of voice calls because as I said we had it with our prior VoIP system.

Oh yeah, the admin passwords for the phones are unique for each phone.  You can ask support for them and there is a trick to get them yourself, but I don't think I should post here.  Anyone from RingCentral monitoring this that can provide the method for getting phone GUI admin passwords for Stephen?

I set up one of the phones to do emergency paging and tested but nothing happened.  It says on the instructions that emergency pages are received by all subscribed users.  Silly question is how does a user subscribe?  Thanks!

You should see it in the web GUI under settings > paging configuration.

I logged in to the GUI of 2 additional phones and enabled group paging on the phones as well as subscribed to the Emergency Group.  I then sent a page to the Emergency Group and neither of the phones had the page play over speaker.

As a RingCentral partner, I have encountered several situations where this limitation is a significant mark against RingCentral.

We are a U.S. business with a few warehouses and offices spread out over one building.  We have Polycom VVX201 phones and ALGO overhead speakers.  We would like to put all these devices into one paging group but the limit is 25 (we have closer to 40 devices), so we are unable to reach the entire building when someone needs to page (especially dangerous if there is an emergency). 

I enabled a Polycom multicast paging group by logging into the web interface of every single device and adding them to the group.  This worked perfectly and the pages reach everywhere, but many of the phones are making a trill beep sound exactly once per minute (I believe because the people were talking on the phone when a page was sent out).  The only way to stop it is to restart the phone, which isn't simple for users (and it will start beeping again anyway soon after).  RingCentral doesn't support the use of multicast page so they will not help me. (I suggested turning off alert tones in our configuration but they said that would prevent voicemails from working).

RingCentral and Polycom have both said the only thing I can do is post on the community.

There was a similar post about a year ago so it doesn't seem like this will change anything  : (

Our employees page constantly when someone is needed, and this was never an issue with our old analog phone system.
