Thanks for your post. If it helps, there is a way you can back up data longer. Visit: RingCentral for Dropbox

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Sent Item Storage Duration.
Currently, RingCentral save the message under sent items for 30 days from the time a customer sent it. It would be great if we can keep the messages on the sent item for as long as customer want it.

"Sent Items" are only saved in the system for 30 days. In my business, I need to go back and check the period of time before 30 days! I chatted with a representative and found that it's not an option to change a setting on this so I'm proposing this be changed.
US account, I'm an insurance broker, high level description?? huh? I want "Sent" items to show longer then 30 days. I need to be able to prove something was sent to a bank, lender, or client. At times, I need to verify what fax number I sent something to. No case #

Is there anyway to add an additional email address (separated by commas or something?) so that you can send a copy somewhere else? (Like sending a copy to a "Distribution list" or gmail/hotmail/etc...) - so now , who cares about "sent".

Hi Tom, This topic is on the subject of data retention limits. It sounds like you are asking for something else. Can you clarify? Are you referring to notifications of some sort?

Just curious if you can bypass the default storage limit by sending a copy somewhere else with longer retention policies.

No, sorry Tom, there's no such option for that.
