Increase Volume for Voicemail

How do you increase the volume of the voicemails on the Android RC app? The phone's volume is as high as it can go and we hit the volume up button many times during playback to ensure we're increasing the correct volume. The low volume is noticed on the Samsung S3, S4, S5, Alcaltel Fierce, and HTC One. The volume is decent if we go to speaker phone, but we can barely hear them with the phone up to our ears.

The Linux laptops playback fine, but we are saving as MP3 and then playing the MP3.

Hi A+,

There's not a separate volume control on the mobile app.  I've tested this on several of those models you mention above and they seem to be ok, and I have not yet heard this from other users.  What happens if you call in from a landline or just call direct with the mobile phone using the steps here: 

Step 1:
Call your RingCentral main number (Toll-Free or Local Number).

Step 2:
Once connected, enter your extension number.

Step 3:
Once you hear your greeting, press the star key or asterisk (*).

NOTE:  If you do not have a greeting in your extension, press the star key or asterisk after the 2nd ring.

Step 4:
The prompt will ask for your PIN. Enter your PIN followed by the pound or number sign (#).

Step 5:
You may listen to the prompt or simply press (1) to listen to your messages.  Press (6) to skip a message.

I am experiencing this as well.  it happened on my Galaxy S3, and now on my S6.  I can barely hear the messages.

Mike, I have just downloaded the app onto my Samsung S5 phone, and I experienced the exact same extremely low volume on playback of voice messages. In fact, I initially thought there was no message until I pressed my ear to the phone and heard a very faint voice.
This appears to be only a problem on the Android App side of things.

Hi Jonathan,   Can you go ahead and use the following link to open a case so that this gets escalated appropriately?  I think I may be experiencing the same thing on an S3.  If you go to play back a voice mail and press the speaker icon does it playback ok? Be sure to include the phone model, android version, and mobile app version you are using.

I've got the same issue with a Samsung Galaxy S6 and just opened a case.
