Is anyone else dissatisfied with the rate increase?  I have had RC for 2 years, and starting in February, the price has doubled!!  My original cost was $9.99/mo, and beginning in February, it's increasing to $19.99/mo.  I'm a small business and rarely use RC, but need a fax line.  I'm really upset about this, as I feel I should be given another option - other than an automatic increase or signing on for the annual rate of $17.99 a month.  How about a per use rate?  Rethinking using RC as my fax line...

Jessica - like Sarah, I am a small business owner and just now notice my annual renewal is tripled.  I was forced to switch to RingCentral Office Standard in October 2019 and was promised my fee and service will stay the same because your company is retiring my plan.  I do not need the Standard Plan. I have a better system I use for conference calls and messaging.  I called Billing support today and was  put on hold for 215 minutes, finally, someone came on the line and got disconnected. I went to chat and work with another rep for three hours....with no resolution.  I was not notified of the increase.  I have been an RC customer since 2008 This is not acceptable increasing my renewal fees without letting me know. I heard of horrible customer service but I did not realize until now how bad!

Hi Lucille,

I'm sorry for the long hold times. Please coordinate with your account manager about this billing increase. If you're not sure who your account manager is, email us at community.support@ringcentral.com and we can find that information for you. Thanks!

Hi Jessica,

I don't have any questions, I just feel disgruntled/annoyed/surprised that my bill has doubled in the two years since I have had RC.  I think there should be options for business owners like me, who don't use RC that often, as mentioned perhaps a pay per use fee.
No sense of legal rights and their liability in the USA market if they keep on disregarding the Federal statues controlling business and trade.

I have been paying my bills for years, which is much bigger than yours and the automatic credit card on file expired and the service was disconnected after 10 days. I opened a customer service ticket and no follow up for a week now!

I can not get back to my account to follow up. they track down the IP address because you can not open even a new free account. they block your feedback on the open forum by using the IP address, which is a computer harassment and totally illegal!

I am very upset and really thinking of suing them in federal court to restore law and orders and protect the public for this kind of corporate abuse of computer systems!

Yes, I am also disgusted.  My plan back in 2013 was $166 for the year.  Today, I was billed $488!  It's not worth that.  Come on!

We've been with RingCentral for at least 7+ years.  The office plan was about $99/month + some additional phone # costs of about $15/month.  A few months ago, our plan cost was raised to nearly $400 a month without us making any changes to our services.  Have attempted to negotiate with them to get the fees more inline with ZERO success.  We are giving it one last attempt this week.  If they don't offer us a reasonable alternative to the rate hike, we're going elsewhere.

Also, we've referred 2 companies to RC.  One small business, another with a fairly extensive network of in office VoiP phones, etc.  We've asked several times about referral bonuses, even a simple credit to our RC account would suffice, and we've gotten the run around every time.  Never even received a thank you for our referral.  On their website, it says they'll give you up to $2500 for a referral.  HA!  Good luck with that! We didn't even receive $0.25!!!
