Has anyone tested IOS8 on their iPhone yet? We develop IOS apps and we need to upgrade some of our production phones for complete testing but, wanted to get some feedback before doing so.
Does RC work with IOS8?

Eric, I just signed up with RC and had iOS 8 beta 4 - the app crashes as soon as it loads the login page.

Thanks for the heads up. We'll stay away from iOS8 until RC sees fit to update their app. My bill with RC keeps going up but, not sure about the value.

Yup, no bueno. Immediate crash. You'd think a company of this size would have this resolved. Yes IOS8 is beta but still, this is ring central and the app is essential equipment. Tried calling CS to get date of fix, waited just long enough to realize tech support didn't understand the difference between Device and OS...nuff said.

I know for a fact their mobile app group has iOS8 beta but, guarantee management won't let them release it to the app store for further testing. For those of you braving this out, support just sent me these instructions for sending them crash logs.
Lets keep this thread rolling to see if/when RC releases a version compatible with iOS8!

Nope.. you won't see it until after late Sept. or Oct. RC is always late to the game on this. They really don't care about what we think either from what I'm seeing in the forums.

Since we all know Ringcentral has TERRIBLE customer service. I started a conversation on Twitter with probably someone from their PR dept. Got the following message back regarding Ringcentral compatibility with iOS 8.

Typical answer from a PR person (I say that with respect, I am one myself). Doesn't look good kids!

This is the downside of using apps to make phone calls. You never know when the vendor will update the app.
