iPhone app will not ring if the user is in a ring group. So if anyone call the Ring Group only the desktop phones ring and not the iPhone/Desk App.

Hi FuneralDIR,
At this time, the only devices that ring an individual's extension who is part of a Ring Group are the deskphone and softphone. The mobile app does not ring. Our Product Team is aware of this and is working on a solution. However, there is no ETA.

While I am glad you are working on this it creates a problem for our locations. They need a SIP enabled phone that works with Ring to answer calls when they are away from their desk.

Have you looked into using Call Queues for your particular setup? Call Queues will ring an entire extension, which includes the Mobile app.

Yes but it will not allow the phones to fail over to our answering service after 6 rings. Unless we use the overflow feature which will not allow for simultaneous rings.
