Issue with single phone sounding muffled and having feedback.

Issue with single phone sounding muffled and having feedback.  Using Cyberdata V2 paging system with Polycomm Soundpoint IP331.  This is only happening on one phone, all other phones working normally.  I have already changed out the phone and moved it to a different location to eliminate the network.  Any ideas would be appreciated.

If you replaced the phone and tried another location, what is left to rule out? This when doing overhead page, I guess?

I would normally say feedback is due to a phone being too close to a speaker and muffled speech due to a user not holding the handset properly.

2018-02-27 Under these circumstances, the next thing to check would be the Cyberdata Firmware status and see if there is an update and do the firmware update.   

The next thing after that, is to find out is if your paging gateway power is the seated properly in the wire-receptacle on the unit itself, and providing the correct voltage - the Cyberdata SIP Paging Server units have a direct-wire spot that the static can originate in if the connection is not perfectly joined. 

We are also having issues getting the Cyberdata Paging Server to work with our Polycom VVX500 phones. 

So far this is still identified as a Cyberdata issue, not a RingCentral issue. We do have an open case with Cyberdata.  If you need to create a support case with Cyberdata - you can email support@cyberdata.com or login to their website, create a User ID and open a ticket in their system.
