It would be great to be able to turn on/off call forwarding from the app (desktop and mobile).

To turn on call forwarding to your mobile phone when you're out of the office, you currently have to log into your account (1).  Go Users (2), Click on your User/Extension (3), Go to Call Handling/Forwarding (4), THEN turn on/off Desktop apps/Smartphones (5).
Way too long of a process.
You should be able to turn it on/off right on the RingCentral for Windows app or in the RingCentral Smartphone (mobile) app with a simple button.

I agree that this would be beneficial. The easiest place I can think of is to set it as a "Presence setting". These can be set up as different "how should incoming calls be treated" setting profiles, not just status'.

For example, "Available" is normal calling the app functionality. Busy and/or "Do not disturb", sends calls Straight to Voicemail, so RC should add an "Out of Office" Presence where you can set the action of the incoming call when you're "Out of the Office" and it's during business hours, it can be set to only ring your mobile, which is a one-time setup in the User settings Call Handing on the website.

Extra credit for RC would be if they can program a way to record a different outgoing message for the voicemail greetings for each Presence Status profile. So when an incoming call runs into a "Do not disturb" status, the voicemail greeting would say something different than what "Busy" or "Available" have.
