KPI Request: Messages unlistened vs total messages

Currently we are able to see the number of messages that a user has not listened to vs the total number of messages they have. EG 6/48 - this tells us that they have 6 messages out of 48 that they have not yet listened to. If the number is 46/48, I know there is a performance issue that needs to be addressed as a large number of messages have gone unread. 

The only way to see this is scanning the user list. I would like to see this as a KPI to measure performance as well as a possible delay in service to our clients.
