There should be another section in the mobile app where customers can listen to the call recordings.

I'll change this to an "Idea" topic so our Product Team can review this idea. In the mean time, you can always log into the full site from your mobile device and download any recorded calls.

If you are logged in as the Admin, try to toggle to the Extension instead. and follow the steps here:

Step 1: Log into your RingCentral account.
Step 2:Under My Extension click Messages.

Step 3:Click Recordings.

Mike, again, your information is incorrect. First of all, what your screenshot is showing does not help the traveling business person who needs to access recordings (non-voicemail) on-the-go. Second of all, your screenshot above is showing a feature that does NOT exist for users with auto recording!  Neither the RingCentral App, nor full site on mobile browser, not even in the full site regular browser of a PC/MAC computer...  just look at the screenshot from my MAC computer below... Within 'My Extension', under 'Messages' the 'Recordings' section is TOTALLY BLANK with just a caption stating:  'ON-DEMAND RECORDINGS (USE CALL LOG FOR AUTOMATIC RECORDINGS).  Please remember that the topic of this conversation is about accessing recordings (not voicemails) through mobile means like the RC app or the full site of a mobile browser. Features that Google Voice and Phone.com currently provide but that RingCentral does not. Simply adding this feature, will keep some RingCentral customers from cancelling their accounts and switching to Phone.com Thanks.

I realize the original post is regarding the mobile app. I was only trying to provide an alternative.  It sounds like the best thing you can probably do is download a flash supported web browser on your mobile device.   I just downloaded and tested the Puffin browser from the Google Play store and it worked fine. I was able to play all call recordings from the call log. You may want to search the iTunes store for this, or a different browser.  This idea topic has been reviewed by our product team, but there's no eta on when the website or mobile app might be updated to support this.

Hi Mike!  I just tried the Puffin mobile browser you recommended and it works!!!  That's actually a really good work around solution.  Hopefully you'll have a more permanent solution to integrate call recordings within the app in the near future.  For now, the Puffin mobile browser will do the job. Thanks for researching this browser... I really appreciate your help on this Mike!!

Happy to help!  If I get confirmation from our product team, I'll update this thread. Over the last few years, Apple, & Google have been steering away and discouraging the use of Flash on websites. This is prompting web developers to lean toward html5 or other technology for certain functionality.  It's probably more likely that we'll get away from the use of Flash, but I'll have to wait for our developers to confirm, or make that call.

Glad I was able to help.  Feel free to post again!

Please add a feature that will allow RingCentral customers to listen to all recorded calls on their account.  Currently, we can only listen to calls on a PC/Mac computer but are unable to listen to any recorded calls (except for voicemails) within the app. Even if I tried logging in to my RingCentral account through my mobile phone or tablet browser, it still will NOT allow me to listen to recorded calls. This is very inconvenient. However, other business associates of mine who are using Phone.com, are able to listen to all of their recorded calls through their online login by computer or mobile phone/tablet browser!  This feature is very important for the business owner who travels a lot as I do.  PLEASE ADD IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!
