we have a helpdesk with sift workers.  I would like users to be able to sit anywhere and login with their extensions.  we would like to be able to track how many phone calls a user is getting and making.  right now the ring to phones called desk1, desk2, desk 3 and so on.  but anyone could be sitting at desk 1.  so we know that desk 1 is taking calls but not what user.

Hey Jim,

Not at this time but I could see how that would be helpful for Admins! I've flipped it to a feature request for others to vote on :)

We need the same thing, we are a small Call Center. All our desktop phones are VOIP on their own dedicated channel, VOIP through computer is not good when logging into VPN etc. We need to be able to log into phones directly not use the web app. It is not convenient to have to log in on the website to send calls to the phone and then the phone to just answer. We don't use the softphone nor do we send calls to our cell phones. There should be a way to program the phone to be able to login in with a employee number and password.
