Menu System Identification

If you have a menu system in place (press 1 for sales, 2 for accounts, 3 for support) etc, you should be notified on the desk phone/soft phone screen as to what option the caller has pressed so that you can respond accordingly.

If a caller has pressed 3 for support, you will know and can respond by saying "Hello, <company name> support, how can I help?" etc. This would be an INVALUABLE feature to add!!!

I use the Include mailbox name in announcement option which can be found in the Incoming Call Information menu selection in the Call Handling & Forwarding menu of each extension.

This has confused people in the past. It will NOT play that information to the caller but rather it will announce the extension to the person ANSWERING the phone call (your employee). It will sound something like, "Sales...you have an incoming call."
