I'm not addressing the request for call waiting - just providing suggestive advice on making a second call while on the APP....
I use the PARK feature.  Example, a customer calls me on my APP and I need to check with a co-worker.  I place the customer on PARK, then call co-worker, after I get the information from the co-worker, I retrieve the customer from PARK.
