Hi,

Kindly add the feature where we can put the mobile app to DND but won't affect the extension, only that mobile app will be on DND so no need for us to log out if we're not using the application.

Regards,

The correct way to handle this requested state is the just simply have the user log out of the mobile app.

When you need the use of the mobile app to be active again,  you re-login.

I agree with the request even though Cecile explained one way to accomplish this.  The point is the workflow could be improved.  I for one move between desk and mobile frequently and would like a faster way to accomplish this.  There are a few other great reasons for this also.

1) The fact is that many people want to leave their desk and turn on DND while the are on their mobile (so others in the office do not try to pick up the line).  You can see the problems that this can cause.

2) If someone puts their mobile on DND then return to their desk... the desk phone is now on DND.  This is counter intuitive.  Most people see these as two devices, and the functions should operate independent of each other.

Since there is no DND for the app itself, at least at this time, another option I have used is to put my smartphone itself on silent/DND.  This will not alert me of the calls in the RingCentral application.  There is a second option where we can avoid putting the whole phone on silent / DND and use the smartphone/mobile app to disable "Data (VoIP0 Calling" just under where you set your status.  I have tested this on iOS but not android though it should work well on both platforms.  Please let me know if this helps or what you find.
