Mobile App Pause Symbol

On my Mobile App, when selecting Symbols the "Pause" (,) or Wait (;) do not work and in my other systems adding a "," or a ";" are ignored in the MobileApp causing the number to be recognized as a foreign number.  Is this a setting or am I doing this wrong? How do I add  extensions for contacts on other systems?

It was not designed to do this...but it is in the UI? 

In Android app, Create a new contact, enter a phone number, tap "Sym" on the lower right. In the Sym menu there is a "Pause(,)" and a "Wait(;)" button.

Also, when I tap "Start Conference" from the App it has the pause built in before auto entering the conference ID.  So this feature exists both in the UI and in the underlying functionality.  It just does not work, this is usually called a defect not a feature request.

Sorry for the delay, and thanks for the clarification on this. I realize this looks like a bug, bit it appears to be a feature that was started, but not completed yet. I'll follow up on this check with our product team to get a status update or an ETA if/when this will work.
