Mobile App: Randomly disconnects bluetooth headset during call

I am using a Samsung S8 and a Samsung Level U Pro bluetooth headset.  While on calls, the RingCentral app randomly disconnects from the bluetooth headset.  The phone itself is still connected to the Level U, but the RingCentral app isn't.

What can I do to prevent this from happening?
