I spoke with Gifford Chester Dugay from Ring Central. He is the Developer Support and Global Service & Solution. Please support this Idea !!! Current situation: RC Engineering team confirms when sending faxes to multiple recipients at the same time is the current behavior of our system and is actually a limitation for now. We should remove the limitation and expand the area.

When faxing via Ring Central where you have multiple parties, it would be nice to display all the parties Fax number and the time it was faxed when the user Save the PDF copy of the Fax Sent.

For example:

From: ABC Company; Fax: ABC's Fax Number ; To: Outbound Party # 1 Fax: Outbound Fax Number # 1; Pages: 1 of 7 ; Time Stamped when RC fax

From: ABC Company; Fax: ABC's Fax Number ; To: Outbound Party # 2  Fax: Outbound Fax Number # 2; Pages: 1 of 7 ; Time Stamped when RC fax

Even though RC sent an Fax Message Transmission Result with all  the Parties, I think its important still to have it stamped onto the Fax.

Are you wanting the fax header to show all intended recipients?  similar to how an email would show multiple email addresses?

Yes showing all intended recipients.

I foresee one problem with this, in that a fax machine (and the RC fax service) auto-scales all faxes to approx 98% of the original size so that the one-line fax header can be placed at the top of the page.  If there are more than 1 recipient, then the fax content would have to shrink smaller and smaller, for every additional fax recipient that is sent to.   So if you send the fax to 5 recipients, then the fax contact would possibly have to be shrunk to 90% (approx) to allow for a 5 line header listing all the recipients.  Problem with this is that the sender now does not know if the recipient is receiving something that is too small to read  -  ie. the sender does not have a copy to visually confirm what the recipients are seeing.   I could see a sender not realizing the affect that they are having on the fax visual size and sometimes trying to be efficient they send the same fax to 20 or 30 recipients and this new feature is "on", then the fax content is now 40 or 50% of the original size and totally unreadable.  For this to work, there would have to be some warning from RC,  or that RC would have to auto-generate a special cover page when sending to multiple recipients listing them all only on the cover page, but not on all the content page headers??

The other problem is even when the Fax Fail, I can still see the Fax Header Faxed, but it doesn't shows whether it fail or sent. It looks exactly like a success fax sent. The only way a user can tell the difference is when you save the fax transmission. I would prefer if the fax transmission email attached the fax sent instead of going back to the phone app to save the copy.

For consistency and familiarity with email systems, this would be normal - eg.  a recipient receives my email and sees in the TO field all the addresses I emailed to, but they don't see any information about if those other addresses actually received the email (they could have bounced back due to incorrect address, or due to mailbox full, or due to suspected spam, etc.)
