Multiple lines on desktop app/incoming call information and caller id

With technology moving forward we need to consider are desktop phones really the future? As someone who has grown up with desktop phones I admit I find comfort using them but let me describe why it’s not efficient.

I travel a lot for work and have a laptop with a built in Bluetooth which allows me to use the ringcentral app to make and take calls on the go. The problem I’m currently having is the lack of multiple line view on the desktop app. We have several phone numbers that we use to track our advertisements so if you call in response to a commercial or Google adword the specific line on my desktop phone tells me I how you heard about us instantly.

If we could please have the option to show the number dialed plus caller ID it would mimic the benefits of the desktop phone without having to carry it around from hotel to hotel. Your consideration is appreciated.

Hey Robert! Are you referring to this setting and being able to select both?

I submitted a sample picture. I would like the ability see the caller ID and the number the person dialed when picking up the phone.

On another note I noticed its not as simple to conference calls on the desktop app. Why not have a button option just like the transfer call button?

Hey Robert, if you want to add another caller to a current call on the Desktop app, either the RingCentral (Glip) or RingCentral Phone app, all you have to do is press the + button
