UK Accounts: Ability to set default area code on desk phone similar to desktop app

Need ability to set a default local area code on a desk phone as can already be done in the desktop app.

It is typical on a PBX or digital phone system to be able to set a local area code default prefix for phone numbers. So, when a number is dialled without a country or area code prefix the one set as the default local area code is used.This feature already exists on the RingCentral Desktop app under Settings - Calls - Outgoing and is called the "Local Dialling area code". the same feature does not exist on the desktop phones forcing an area code to always be dialled. This is particularly annoying in the UK as area codes only apply from a standard phone when dialling out of area.

Please add the ability to desktop phones to allow the setting of a default local area code so that this part of the RingCentral service is in line with the Desktop App which already has this feature.

Hey there. This can be done in the extension settings online. Go to phones and devices and you can set default area code for the phone there

Unfortunately Mike / Andrew this option does not seem to be available on my user interface for phones and devices. In the "Assigned To" section of the configuration I do not have a box for "Default Area Code". Could this be a feature only available in the US and not in the UK? I don't think its a security restriction issue as I am a 'Super Admin' user. Below is a screenshot of my configuration screen which is missing that option.

Just letting you know that I got confirmation that the setting referenced above is not available on UK accounts. So, we'll leave this top as an active feature request so it gets reviewed by our Product Team.  Any other users that would like to have this option please comment and vote for the idea above.
