Is it possible and when if you can set up this one feature! When people leave a voice mail, they will automatically will get a standard auto reply via TEXT, so they know and understand that we care and will get back with them as soon as one of our team member becomes available.

Great, so I am not the only one.. I have called, and was told to post it here. Its a simple add on, and will keep the customers aware that we are here for them 24/7 even if we miss one call.

This is a site for our Developer Program to assist with using our APIs. Our APIs can be used to build this functionality by doing the following:

  • Create a subscription that receives notifications for new voicemail messages
  • Retrieve the new voicemail messages with phone number for each notification
  • Send a SMS/MMS text to that phone number (you can also monitor the API for sending status)

If you would like to build this, please create an app on our Developer Program and take a look at our API Reference.

Not sure what you mean, but we are not planning to build this feature and wanted to find out if you (Ring Central) can add this simple feature ?

Regarding your request to add this as a feature, I've requested our general community team to move this post to our general community so the appropriate feature team can view and respond to your request.

Also, when I say developer or admin, I'm including customers too. Generally, our customers can have 3 user roles: end users, admins, and developers.

This is an awesome idea! Thanks for putting this out here @AClassLimos. It's going to be pretty useful for most industries that deal with customer service, sales even. Most companies in real estate are doing this but would also love to have this feature via Ring Central.
