Need to be able to access multiple text messages to different numbers through desktop app without logging in and out to different extensions.  We have different main numbers for multiple office locations.  Need to be able to access these different number's text messages through an individual's desktop app without requiring that user to log in and out of different extensions.

Much like the outbound caller ID can be switched with a drop down, would like to have the ability to switch text numbers with a drop down that allows you to access the messages screen for that actual number and then being able to respond from the number that the text was sent to and not from the extension the desktop app is logged into.
  • SMS - be able to view SMS that come into a different extension - currently these cannot be routed differently through Messages & Notifications.
  • Faxes - be able to view another Ext's faxes without having them route them to me via Notifications.
  • Voicemails - be able to access another Ext's vm's without having to login to that other extension or have the vm's routed under Notifications.

Like "changing the hat" from the same computer... this should be a feature just for admins, for privacy reasons...

We are running a call center for multiple locations, so we need it for non admins too.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Desktop App: monitor multiple extensions via Softphone.

I am the only employee, however I've set up Ring Central to have three extensions to track my various businesses. Is there a way to monitor the activity of all three extensions on Softphone without having to log into each extension?

Please add this functionality, or at least grant us the ability to run two instances of the application so we can be logged into multiple extensions on one PC

I have 2 extensions in my account, and need both logged in at all times. Is there a way to get 2 desktop apps on one computer?
