Call Recordings: Need to prevent users from deleting recordings

I need to prevent phone users from deleting voice recordings on their phones. If they have a poor conversation with a customer, I want to know about it.

I know of no way to prevent a user from deleting their own messages.  My suggestion would be, to have the email notifications (of the VM message) also sent to you.  Since the email includes the .wav attachment, you'll have a copy even if they delete the message.  Now that's the technical option.  You'll need to check with someone else on the legalities.

Yes, we need this feature. All users should be able to listen to there recordings but only admin can delete them.

Hello Everyone,

This can be accomplished by creating a Custom Role.

It's been tested and the user can only view the recording.

Does the above Custom Role solution actually work?  Because when I click on the link it says the solution may no longer be accurate?

I don't have the ability to create a custom role at our level of service.  However, the ability to keep employees from deleting recorded calls should be available at every level of service.
