Netgear Switch "auto voip" option

I'm working with a Netgear Smartswitch GS748T and I found an option for "Auto VoIP", anyone has experience tweaking this options in order to get better voice quality when the network is too slow?  (Please do not answer "read the manual")

We use these switches quite a bit in successful deployments and never mess with that as all of our QoS is handled in the router.  I'd be curious to know others' thoughts on this as well though.  As a side note, we never deploy ringcentral in a network that is too slow so maybe this would help with that?
