New Feature Request for Call Handling

I have a US based company using Ring Central for our company phone service. We are a franchise handyman company that performs small tasks around our customer's homes to help improve their homes and resolve potential issues or perform routine maintenance.

The new feature that I am requesting has to do with how calls can and are handled. We have a main company phone number that customers call to reach our service. When the call comes into that phone number I want our Team Coordinators physical desk phone and their mobile phone application to ring 3 times, then I'd like that same extension to ring on both devices as well as ringing our second extension (my personal extension) on both my physical desktop phone and my mobile phone application for 3 additional rings, then if neither extension answers the call I'd like to have the call then forwarded to an external answering service that we use.

I think many business owners and users would find this feature to help miss less calls or have less customer's frustrated that their call goes to voicemail or an answering service by having the ability to have their mobile phone app ring to answer the call if they are available but not sitting near their physical desktop phone.

We currently have 2 users each with their own digital line, and will be expanding in the future to have additional users and lines.

  • Confident that this is a good feature to add to the service.

You should be able to do this with your account. I would just call support and work with them on getting it done. Doesn't seem too complicated.

We are an answering service and have several clients set up that way so we get the rollovers. You have to ring all phones simultaneously and set up the answering service for when calls go unanswered.

I'm not understanding. Lay out the programming for me, please, in this situation. As in phone number 1234567 rings call queue XXX with members 101, 102, and 103 then we have call handling set to XYZ...

I have spoken with call support and tier 2 call support who all tell me this is a new feature that would be needed. They all tell me that you can either ring all phones simultaneously or you can ring the extensions sequentially but you can't ring a single line, then multiple lines, then forward to an external number.
