No audio on RC mobile app if already on another VOIP app call

If I'm already in a VOIP call using another mobile app (Google Hangouts, Viber, Whats App) and in inbound Ring Central call comes in on my RC mobile app, I am able to pick up the RC call and hear the other caller.  However, the inbound RC caller cannot hear me.  I was told by RC Tech Support that mobile VOIP apps have microphone priority over the RC mobile app and that these mobile apps do not give up the use of my phone's microphone for a RC mobile app call.  Is there another way to talk on my mobile with a non-RC app and still receive RC mobile app calls?

If you frequently use your mobile to take calls, one idea would be to forward your RingCentral calls to your cell phone number. The native dialer should take priority over all other apps on the phone.
