When someone texts me through my RingCentral number or I get a Voicemail, I don't get any push notifications on my Android phone (Galaxy S8+) until I open the Ring Central app. This means it might be hours or even days before I see that there's a message, missing important communication.
I've looked for notification settings within the app and in everything seems to be turned on. How do I fix this?

Hey Doug, do you get other push notifications such as incoming calls, glip messages, etc.?

My phone rings for incoming RC calls, yes. Although I've seen it mentioned a lot, I'm frankly not sure what a glip is.

Hmmm....let's get our Tech Support Team to look at it! Could you submit an Email through the app?
1) Tap your Profile Picture
2) Help
3) Report Issue
4) Provide as much details as possible
Thanks!

Hey Doug,
There is the RingCentral app (R logo) that has Call, Message, and Meet functionality. And then there is the RingCentral Phone app, which is just telephony features. You indicated that this was the RingCentral app - if you're actually having issues with the RingCentral Phone app (phone logo), then you'll want to submit a case online or give our Support Team a call.
The Product Team is actually working on combining all of our apps into the single RingCentral app

I guess I meant the RC Phone app. I never actually use the RingCentral app and tend to refer to both as "RingCentral". The two app situation is really confusing, I'm glad you are combining them. There is a messaging function in both, but they are evidently not the same. When someone texts (SMS) my RC number, I see it in the phone app, but I get no push notification.

No worries! That's one of the reasons why we are combining our apps into one - avoid confusion ;)
I would open a case with Support so they can look into why you're not getting push notifications.

I did, but through the RingCentral app. Do I need to do it again through the RC Phone app? If so, how do I do that? There's no "Report Issue" link there.
