RingCentral Meetings: permission for someone else (like secretary) to schedule meetings on behalf of host.

I have a U.S. customer who does lots of online meetings with their customers. Currently they are using Go To Meeting to generate their online meetings but as they are now switching to Ring Central they would like to use that instead.

The problem they've run into this is. While they can schedule their own meetings in RC with no problem, using GTM they frequently have one person send out the meeting invites for others. With GTM they can do that using "on behalf of".

However with RC the only way that can be done is either if the actual sender is a site admin so they have access to all accounts there or if the one who will be conducting the meeting provides their RC login information to the sender.

So it would be really nice if RC could somehow come up with a way that a person could grant permission to another person to send out meeting invitations on their behalf without giving their login info to the sender or the sender having to be a site admin.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled RingCentral Meetings Scheduling Privilege.

We were sold on the idea that RingCentral includes Zoom, but come to find out we are missing features. We use the Scheduling Privilege ability within Zoom but those advanced options are not available with RingCentral Meetings. Here is a link that describes what it is about. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/arti...

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Ring Central Meetings - delegated users (Exec Assistants).

Ring Central meetings will "schedule" a meeting from a logged in account, but default to whoever's Outlook is currently signed in. Executive Assistants are constantly scheduling for their supervisors ON THEIR BEHALF and it is imperative that the meeting invite is showing as FROM that executive or supervisor and not the assistant. This should be a feature ASAP

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled I would like to have the capability of assigning a host extension when scheduling....

When I schedule a meeting, i logon using my extension. Sometimes I am not really attending the meeting but since I am task to do this scheduled meeting I need to have the capability of assigning a certain user to be the host of the scheduled meeting.
