One push button to Park a call, regardless if it's a Public or Private Parking.

Knowing that there are ways on how to park a call (for Private and Public Parking), it would be better if there is a specific button to press from a deskphone to automatically park a call.

As Danno has said:
  1. Create a 'Park call group'
  2. Set the presence setting of your target users so that the Park location is assigned to one of the line buttons on either your actual desk phone or an expansion module attached to the deskphone.
  3. You now have a one-touch park location. You can create as many as you need.
This is exactly what I have setup for my company - works very well.

We also use this same feature for call park but I have several stores complaining that the Public park key is activating when they press the Park 1 2 or 3 keys. This is not all the time. I cant duplicate this issue buth the managers are continually telling me this is happening.

Any suggestions?

Hey Rodney,

Seems odd...especially since you can't replicate the issue. I would ask your customer to well document when this happens. Maybe they're simply pressing things in the wrong order or hitting the wrong button accidentally?

can you retrieve the parked call from a line button on another phone in the office? so if i label 5 keys for 5 parked calls, the staff could go to another phone in the office and select one of the 5 parked calls by pressing one of the 5 keys labeled?  any special phone needed or will yealink t 46 work?

You can accomplish this. Each phone needs to be setup with the park locations, and each user needs to be granted permissions to use each park location. Check out this KB regarding Presence and which phones support it.
