Caller ID Unblock outbound

All of our numbers are blocked as we do cold calling and don't want our numbers to show when calling out, however there are clients and candidates in which we need our number to show for outbound calls to them so that they don't see UNKNOWN and ignore our call. *82 does not work on our Ring Central phones, how do you unblock your outbound call on a per call basis if *82 does NOT work?

You may want to call support, but I am not aware of a way to pick and choose when your number is blocked, as far as I know, its either blocked or unblocked

Thank you Rob! I actually did call and they put in a feature request for me but they also suggested that I post in here so that they see the urgency of the request. It's pretty vital for us to be able to use the *82 feature. Our recruiters are using their cell phones for now to call out to people who we can't use unblocked numbers for.

What about if you were to add a 2nd line to your users' phones? One showing caller iD?

This might be our only option eventually...unless RC adds this as a feature which they really should because there are many companies who don't want their number displayed for calls and do want the number to show with clients. Hoping they fix this.

Andrea, there is no way to do this from the phone.  You could easily do this from your portal by changing the outbound caller ID setting for the extension when making that call you want the caller ID info to be displayed.

Thank you Chuck. I actually know it's NOT possible, but the support center told me to bring it up here in the community so that RC sees that this is a NEEDED feature in the future (hopefully soon). It's pretty important for us as we also need to track calls by our team...so having a second line or having them use their cells changes this reporting.
