DearRingCentral Customer,

It has come to our attention you may have received notification messages that incorrectly identify RingCentral as the sender. These emails (sent from ringcentral@ics-com.net) are not valid RingCentral emails and may contain email viruses.

Here is how you can verify that an email is from RingCentral:

·  Sender email address should be service@ringcentral.com
·  Log-on to your account via mobile app, desktop app or via browser at www.service.ringcentral.com and confirm that you have messages that would send notifications.

Also we advise you to familiarize yourself with additional information of what you cando from the Federal Trade Commission on this topic: https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0003-phishing.

Please work with your IT Administrator to block emails to your company from this sender (ringcentral@ics-com.net).

Thank you,

RingCentral

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Phishing Email: Disguised as if RingCentral Fax Notification.

Received somewhat clever phishing email claiming to
have 3 page fax message. The email tries to trick recipient into clicking what
appears to be a RingCentral hyperlink, but the real hyperlink is malicious and
directs the user's web browser to a website with VN country code (Vietnam).
