Phishing Email : Disguised as Voicemail/Fax Message

It has come to our attention you may have received notification messages that incorrectly identify RingCentral as the sender. These emails (sent from are not valid RingCentral emails and may contain email viruses.

Here is how you can verify that an email is from RingCentral:

·  Log-on to your account via mobile app, desktop app or via browser at and confirm that you have messages that would send notifications.

Received somewhat clever phishing email claiming to
have 3 page fax message. The email tries to trick recipient into clicking what
appears to be a RingCentral hyperlink, but the real hyperlink is malicious and
directs the user's web browser to a website with VN country code (Vietnam).
