AMEN Matt Thomas!!!! I have been complaining about this since day one. I have over 20k contacts, It would be nice to have my CV file for each group (By region) directly into Ring Central creating a group RIGHT from that CV file. Instead you have to add each individual contact. Took me a month to add just 100 contacts.
I would imagine it would be easy to add a field to the Contacts, named "Group" and when you import from csv file, you have that field "Group" filled in with the Contact Group Name. Could even be that this field already exists (maybe just hidden from view). Based on my database knowledge, this seems like a quick fix. Has there been any progress on this issue? I am a new customer and trying to import contacts by region directly into a group, vs. selecting each of them individually as Matt Thomas mentioned. Matt, any workarounds or updates on this issue?
