I have a home fax number and would like to keep it. Right now I am paying ATT too much for it. If I port the number to you, will I have to keep paying a monthly fee? Also, if I (foolishly) ever decide to leave you, will I be able to take the number with me?

Thanks, Barry

Numbers are portable from one carrier to another. So if you have an RC account you could port that fax number. If you want to leave RC some day you could port it to the new carrier

No extra charge for Number porting

To add to what Chuck said, porting a number in doesn't cost anything. If you were to add the number to an existing RC account, you would have to pay an "additional number fee" of $4.99 per month. You could also port the number in as your main (i.e., only) RC account number. All you'd pay for that is the monthly cost of the service. I hope that makes sense.
So basically I will be able to port a number to our RC account for only just $4.99 additional a month for that line correct.

You pay the $4.99 only if you are ADDING a number to your account.  You could port and REPLACE existing numbers and there is no additional fee

Each office plan comes with a company number and a company fax and then a separate phone number for each line.

If you are replacing one of these numbers then no charge.

If you are Adding to your account then there will be the charge

Make sense?
