Our postage meter runs on a standard land line phone, it uses this to connect to Pitney Bowes and add postage to our machine.  I called RC today and was told they do not support this, even if I were to buy an adapter to plug it in to my computer with a USB.  Please add this feature!

Just have PB send you a unit that connects to the network.  Almost all of them have this feature.

Should not cost anything more than what you are paying now

Thank you

PB does have a digital model but it costs more and requires a new lease term.  I was hoping to avoid that.

Sorry about that, I have not heard that from my customers that the Network connected models cost more.

What about USB to the computer?

Will that work?

Not sure how current models work, but when we had a postage meter, we had to go over an analog line, so we had to have a POTS line just for our postage meter.  I hope they have joined the 20th century, but wouldn't be surprised to hear this is still a requirement.

We even tried an analog adapter, but to no avail: the meter HAD to have an analog line.  Hope that times have changed, but I would check with PB to see if this is still the case.

Hope that helps.
