Product Enhancement Request: I would like to request an enhancement for RingCentral Meetings. It would be nice to be able to view previous meetings/meeting history. Having the meeting history date back 30 or 90 days would be good and also to view the duration of the meeting.

Until RC provide your requested enhancement; I would suggest to use your Call Log.  That's how I keep track of all my conference calls including who attended and the duration of the call. I download it to a spreadsheet and have a permanent record of all my conference calls. Really like that this is a free feature with RC.  The other hosted PBX vendors I tested either could not provide this feature or they charged for the report.

Hi Kaitlyn,  If you open the RC Meeting app, and click the "Meetings" link at the bottom, then the "Recorded" tab at the top, it does show a list of your recorded meetings and dates & times. Is this what you are looking for?

Hi Mike, No, we are using RingCentral Meetings for some 1-1 demonstrations and we don't record all of those. In some instances we just would like to go back to view the history of a meeting that isn't recorded. I think reviewing the call log at this time should work for us. Thanks for your help!

I tried using the suggested workaround and I don't see details of the callers/participants in the Call Log at all.  Does that suggestion only work for basic conference calls, and not actual RC Meetings that used the app??
I really need participant/attendee historical info for our online meetings!

Ya. the option above only works for regular conference calls. Unfortunately for the RC meetings, there's not a log of the attendees. Usually what I do is take a screenshot of the attendee list while the meeting is live.

how do we add this to the list for future development. go to meeting has a detailed history report available that shows the meeting attendees and exactly how long the meeting went on.

Hi Joseph,  Idea threads such as this are basically the wish list from customers to our developers.  Our developers read these threads regularly and receive regular reports showing the most asked for features.  The best thing to do, is keep commenting and voting on all the Community Idea Topics that you would like to see.

In Zoom meetings (is this not the underlying engine for Ring Central Meetings), the Meetings log (Reports|Usage Reports|Usage) can be accessed at the following account web page:
https://zoom.us/account/my/report

In Zoom, the output includes the fields:
Topic
Meeting ID
User Name
User Email
Has Zoom Rooms?
Creation Time
Start Time
End Time
Duration (Minutes)
Participants

Can you not retrieve and present this same Zoom information in Ring Central Meetings?

What role does this link require so users can have this access? We are currently using the default roles and users don't have the option to get to this page. They do not have an option for Meetings under the Tools link.

Hi K McDaid,

I feel like I might be missing something. If I log in as one of your Users who has the Default Standard (International) Role assigned to them, they see the Meetings tab under Tools...So I'm a little confused :(

Are you referring to something else?

So my original question is resolved, it turns out we created a custom group and neglected to check off meeting app access.  Now that we checked the Meeting App Access on the custom group they are seeing the Meeting Reports option under their Tools > Meetings view.

My new question is -- what functionality gets turned on for users if you check the "Meeting Reports" checkbox?  Individuals see "Meeting Reports" by checking the "Meeting App Access" check box so what does "Meeting Reports" give them?

Ah, I see. A custom rule would make sense.

So from my own testing, the Meetings Reports section refers to if the User will have access to the Reports Tab and the Meetings Section of it. I believe this Dashboard is for the entire company.

Interesting. Do you think you can ask development to change that permission label to be Meeting Reports (for the full site) — or provide that extra detail in the knowledge article that describes the permissions because that would be helpfully for others to know.

Hi K McDaid, this Article actually goes over details of what the Meetings Dashboard is and how it is for Admins to use in order to see information regarding the entire account.
