RC has done a great job of providing a single spot to go get downloads for the apps at:

The challenge is that there is no version numbers listed on this page, the files you download use generic names with no version number made part of the file name, and the installers when launched do not tell you what version it is in either the file properties or in the installation dialog box when run. For example, the RCMeetingsOutlookPluginSetup.msi file is named exactly the same and when run gives no indication what version it is.

Future state that would be customer friendly with those involved in software distribution:

 - The downloads page is updated each time a downloadable file version changes such that for each product the version is listed on the page. If this is challenge then at least naming files with the version would allow customers to see what version is downloadable by hovering over the download link.

 - The downloadable files have the version number in the file name so that you can see at a glance that RCMeetingsOutlookPlugin6.1.3794.0423.msi is a newer version than RCMeetingsOutlookPlugin6.1.3223.0412.msi.

 - Optional and not needed if the file naming if improved, but the installer dialog could tell the user what version is being installed.

 - Post the MSI versions of all Windows apps so that we don't have to ask for them each time or have our CSM spend time fetching them for us. I know this has been asked by many customers - is it a licensing issue? If setup.exe is more appropriate for some customers then just post both MSI and Setup.exe please.

Hi Jeff,

Just wanted to note that I agree. Thanks for posting.

I must admit that is a great idea!  Would take a lot of the guessing out of maintaining different versions!
