Although I am an administrator on our business account, the only way I can get phone support is by verifying the other account administrator's high school mascot or one of the other highly personal security questions offered by Ring Central, or by verifying the billing credit card number? What if the other account admin is out-of-the-office or terminated and the billing credit card is not available at the moment that I have a user's phone down? I need to change the billing credit card just to allow a support rep to find out why my user's phone can't connect to the RC server? We need a business-friendly verification system that does not involve highly personalized security questions for just the first admin despite there potentially being several.

I have not had much issue with this. When they ask the security questions I verify that they are asking my security questions for my extension which when they look it up they see that I am an admin on the account.

I am the second administrator on the account. I was told I needed to answer the first administrator's security question. The first administrator was not available and neither was the billing credit card, so I had to tell the user who's phone was not working that he was not going to have a phone for a few more hours even though I am an administrator. There should be a business solution for this that does not rely on highly personalized security questions because people come and go in a company.

Brandon, Sorry for the frustration.  Eugene is correct. The rep can verify your information instead of the Super Admin. Just make sure they have your name and extension.  If you have a case number that this occurred on, you can reply here and we'll find out who the agent was and make sure they are aware of the procedure.

Thanks Mike. Mistakes happen. I'm just glad to hear that this was not RC's standard procedure.

You're welcome, and of course you can always post questions here.  As long as you log into the Community with your RC credentials, then we can link your post to your account and that's sufficient for us to access your account info.
