I would like to be able to select whether or not I would like my native call be interrupted so I have the choice of whether to answer or ignore it.

Hi Mike, thank you for your reply! Actually I opened a case regarding this issue yesterday, and tested with the Ring Central rep several times - this feature does not presently work. The agent showed me how to sign up to this community and request it here. I regret that the agent did not send me the case number or the usual feedback request after the telephone call so I have neither to give you. Please provide an email where I can provide my number, and any account information you may need to check the records of the call. My account is Canada and I am running the latest version of Android OS for my device 6.0.1 I think my concise description pretty much sums it up... but again, If I have my Android app to VOIP only and set as available, and my RC online account set to ring through my extension, I would like to be able to receive a call on my app even while on a cell based call - perhaps something less intrusive than a blaring ring tone. At present, the app puts a notification at the top of the screen, which doesn't get easily noticed unless you're expecting a call, and certainly not if your phone is to your ear. When I set up several test calls with the agent, I specifically watched for the notification while on my cell with her. Then, I tried to answer the call but no amount of tapping, swiping, pressing etc. in any direction would accept the call. We tried this several times. As soon as I hung up my cell call and she retried on the app only, I was able to easily accept the VOIP call. I use the RC numbers as a business storefornt for my company, as well as a not-for-profit foundation - and any place where I don't want my cell number displayed to the general public. We hold an annual event for 15,000 people that is growing - I don't want them all calling my cell phone! My numbers are also posted on my websites for each organization. Most of the time the phone system is set to go straight to voice mail, and sometimes a selection of extensions is available, but sometimes I need to take calls directly and not on my cell number due to privacy reasons. It is during these instances I would like to be able to select whether or not I would like my native call be interrupted so I have the choice of whether to answer or ignore it. Hopefully this gives you better information to work with.
