Ring Central all those recorded calls if not being able to use it as text are not very helpful when need to communicate and use those calls as proof with other institutions where communication is via regular mail.
unless the technology has come a long way, i find the voice to text style messaging and transcription to not be ass accurate as they should be. if a person has an accent or words are picked up incorrectly it could lead to the transcribing party being liable for whatever went wrong potentially, im not sure if im wording that right but, RC wouldnt want to be liable for giving you a transcription that could be inaccurate, then you lose a battle and hold them accountable for it, or something to that effect. hopefully thats as easy to understand as i meant for it to be and not coming across as rude.
There is a solution readily available for you to be more productive and take the most out of your investment in RingCentral’s VOIP Business Phone service. The Voice to Text Transcription Service for RingCentral is provided by Velvetech who is a Premier ISV Partner of RingCentral.
Full call transcription is being done by a number of competitors including amazon connect and cisco. Even RingCentral's partner Avaya does this: https://techcrunch.com/2019/11/19/salesforce-aws-expand-partnership-to-bring-amazon-connect-to-service-cloud/ Ringcentral should support this feature for Salesforce as an out-of-the-box feature or risk being left behind all other players in this space.
