In the COVID 19 remote work circumstances, we are experiencing a major deficiency in the ring central mobile app. The app does not allow our staff to text clients and have our just main number show up  on  recipient's caller ID. As it stands this feature is only available on our receptionist extension. WE ARE A LAW FIRM AND the entire staff is working remote and want to not reveal their direct dial extension when texting clients.. Before now we used Vonage and this capability was available to us..  PLEASE PROVIDE THIS CAPABILITY ..THIS IS MORE IMPORTANT TO US NOW THAN EVER BEFORE

on the Ring central mobile app click on settings (three lines upper left corner) and set the caller Id to main office number. Just tested and it worked for me.

We have already set our main number as default caller ID appearance for voice calls..But can not get the same to apply to texts....

Ah, I should read more closely. You are correct,my comment applies to calls.

I believe you should be able to apply a template to all of your extensions to change the outbound caller ID for Mobile App (and other devices) to a specific extension.
