This update had decreased my productivity. Having the dialer box stuck inside any Google Chrome page does not work for me or my employees. This "upgrade" has been more of a hindrance than enhancement. The best fix would be to not have the dialer box embedded into Chrome and have it as a separate window like it was before.

I had this happen too and there is a setting you can change, but it took me awhile to figure it out and I can't remember where that was.  Hopefully someone can help you out quickly.

I think I have found it ... if it is the same problem I had.  Under Glip use the pull down on your company name at the top left and click on preferences.  Under Calling/Phone calls turn off to allow glip to make and receive phone calls.  Hopefully this helps.  

P.S. I think I had to log out and back in to get it to take effect as well.

I was on the phone with Support for an hour earlier and was told that it is what it is until a further update. She went on my computer via RC meeting and took control remotely. I don't feel comfortable sharing a screenshot in a forum like this as well.

Two from our company called today.  Our text boxes, RC for Google, have changed dramatically and the changes are extremely unacceptable and cannot operate like this.  We use these features consistently and need the efficient and effective system back.  When we called, the first caller was told they would look into it, after getting on a meeting to view what was happening, and ultimately received an email that said we would have to live with it and nothing they can do.  I got on chat and after about 10 minutes of no help the person hung up on me after telling me I could go in to the community and voice my concerns and maybe the next upgrade would help.

Well, I'm not sure about you, but I doubt we are sticking around to see.  We cannot work like this and do not appreciate the lack of respect, concern, kindness, and care we received today.  What a huge waste of time.  How can a business operate like this?
